About Life Ur Way
Life Ur Way is a locally owned and operated innovative NDIS Disability Support Provider. We currently service from Babinda through to Cardwell and surrounds. Since Life Ur Way’s inception in 2018, we have grown from a small two-person operation into a thriving business employing 80 local staff of all ages and backgrounds. We provide a wide range of Disability Support services to local NDIS participants and their families to help them achieve quality of life and to live life their way
About the role
This is a newly created position designed to assist in the effective management of our busy office, with a primary focus on assisting with systems, rostering, and administration. Reporting to the Payroll, Compliance and Quality Team Leader, this role will see the successful applicant learn a wide range of skills and become a part of a friendly and supportive team. This role is full-time for a fixed term of 12 months. The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III in Community Services during their employment, and this role is based in Innisfail.

As a funding requirement for the trainee component of the role, applicants cannot have previously commenced or completed a traineeship or apprenticeship. You must also be able meet the requirements to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check upon commencement. Trainee pay rates will apply.
Duties include
- Assist with routine administration tasks including answering phone calls and emails
- Answer and assist incoming enquiries and interact with NDIS Participants, their families, and fellow service providers
- Assist the Rostering Team to ensure all support services are provided appropriately
- Assist in the management of our business systems and programs, ensuring programs are utilised to their full potential and changes are implemented as required
- Provide administrative support to members of the office team as directed by the Payroll, Compliance & Quality Team Leader and the Operations Manager
- Provide support to cover annual leave and absences across the office team (under direction)
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Other duties as required
